i was trying to do some wrinkles and other details with normal map, so i found that ugly result, so i was using the neutral expression to get a better vision of the problem
I think your t.rex's toes are too curled. Try extending them out to a 'neutral' position. You can look at large birds like an emu or cassowary for some reference.
Hey thanks for the advice, ill try to do it like that! Here is one with a more neutral material in higher res, still some wonky surfaces here and there, but ill get to that tomorrow :P:
Alright, little more neutral on the colors, included the image size in the image tags, so that IE 64 can deal with it. Removed the border from the gallery arrows. Thanks again guys.
Make a six pack of Blue Moon and we'll have ourselves some nice Black n' Blues although, render it on a more neutral toned background, it makes looking at the models easier.
Are you confusing weighted normals on chamfered edges with floating corner trim methods? Your floating corner trim needs to blend off into a neutral flat(no data) on the normal map. Otherwise you will get thst harsh transition.
Thank you Texelion! I can try to tweak the nose directly on the lowpoly, perhaps it's a dirt solution, but I'll try! For her expression, you're right, it's very neutral, let me see if I can improve it! :D
Hi, About the curves, you'll want to have a good distribution of values, and have a neutral diffuse (ok not all the time). I just desaturate your diffuse, and applied an ugly level. There's padding in the curve, but you get the idea.
@GedIt's probably a color gradient thing. I have not yet learned how to configure it, so I use one of the standard profiles which is called "neutral". As it seemed to me in UE4 easier to get a juicy picture indoors.
all you would need is 1 page, neutral background, your best stuff & contact info on top, and the rest underneath that in an appropriate image size... even one click to get to the actual art is 1 too many...
