This is exactly the kind of thing that a lot of people say to me - heres why I don't branch out. I AM branching out by making girls lol. Since I started in games heres a rough count of what I have made (just skimmed over my folders and counting whats in there kinda rough numbers) inhouse and freelance. Environment props:…
Ok cool, yeah I can highly recommend both the 12mm and the 45mm, if you're not going to pick up a zoom you may want to consider one of the 25mms (oly 1.8 or pana 1.4 which I have - a little bigger and more expensive but 2/3rds stop faster) as well, but I think the 12 and 45 as a starter kit would give you a lot to work…
Sorry for the bump guys, I've been following this thread for a little while and it's become my go-to source for anything POM Decal related in UE4, so I figured this was the best place to post. Not sure if anybody saw Josh Van Zuylen's Foundary 42 Art Test, he posted it up a few weeks ago and it's absolutely stunning.…

This is where haters start griping but this is purely a suggestion--I am trying to ramp up into designing guns again myself so I figured this would be a nice exercise, so I hope you don't mind. There's a history of these kinds of paintovers starting shit (Dfacto's SMG from DoD comes to mind) but this is not the intention.…

So my options were to either move or work other 3D type jobs not…

After struggling to find something unique doing some sketching on the old scene, started to lean on to something with nature stuff on it. Here is a crappy…
As fierce as competition is for advanced phone technology, I have my fingers crossed that my best HD camera will do over 120 fps and will always be in my shirt pocket ( unless that will gimme cancer. ) Since I upgraded my zx3 with class 10 memory I have noticed smoother captures with it's 720p @60fps. ( I would not…

I recommend you use a program called topogun for your retopo work. It's about $100 for a license, but it's worth it. http://www.topogun.com/ In a nutshell, here's how the process works. Once you're done with the high poly, use decimation master to get the poly count down to a reasonable size. Import that mesh into topogun…
