If you're using that in Unity - have you fixed the smoothing angle? Set Tangents and Normals to "Calculate", set Smoothing Angle to 180, set Normals to "Import" and then Tangents to "Calculate". hi, been having the same problem with the noise function on the burshes. what I've found works is if you start zbrush with a simple ztool like a cube, select the brush you want to use the noise on, enable it, set the noise settings and click apply.
