The problem seems to be with the shops and not with the consumers, set a fixed rate pre-ownned sale or something and publishers/developers create a ranking system for their games? I don't know, if you pay £45 for a game and it lasts 8 hours, what do you do with it afterwards? Let a friend borrow it maybe?
I would join you any day :) . Sweden is one of the happiest places in the world! According for Forbes it's #4: http://www.forbes.com/2010/07/14/world-happiest-countries-lifestyle-realestate-gallup-table.html My two mother countries are between #115 and #148. :( . Canada is # 8, nice.
I agree 100%. Work to live, not live to work. When i phone interviewed with my recent company, the first question I asked was about overtime. I made sure I was just working my 8-5, so I could have a life outside of work!
Hey, awesome thread! :) Dug up some old stuff to contribute. Might take on someone else's concept as well. :) An old unfinished UT2004 level, buildingcomplex with 6-8 legs. :P Not that old, but someone might have fun with it. ;) Back in the days when learning Maya. Walking church.
Windows XP x64 is limited to 128gb of physical memory and 8 terabytes of virtual memory per process. If someone loves XP enough they will find ways to stay until the last possible moment, it happened with win98. I hope they stick with Win7 as a name and forget all this Vista, Cloud, crap.
Canon Digital Rebel XT. I'd highly recommend something with at least 8 megapixels, and some manual controls. A digital SLR is probably your best bet. The Rebel XT is now a bargain, but if I had the money and didn't already have one, I'd probably go with a Nikon D70.
Didn't they pass a law, doing away with that? This might help everyone understand why he keeps getting away with making crap. http://www.cinemablend.com/feature.php?id=209[ QUOTE ] He should take his Super 8 and his tax forms back to Wermelskirchen where they belong. [/ QUOTE ]
Sorted out a bug with the averaging... tested a fair bit on Max 8, works in all cases I've tried. http://boards.polycount.net/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=280165&page=0&vc=1 Bug reports in that thread, don't wanna clutter up this one more than it already is
Maya 8 works in software if you use Mental Ray (last time I checked). Hook your shader network up just as if you were doing a hardware render (ie normal map into bump node set to tangent space), set renderer to Mental Ray - done!
Yeah I'll second what MOP said, I think the feet and ankle area are just too tapered and small. needs a bit more bulk to them. As well as the shoulder width needing adjusting. Looking good so far though man. 8-) Where have you been?
