Create or link to a thread so that we don't clog up this thread too much. But off hand, either her shoulders are too wide, or her rib cage is too narrow. And that's not just because she's a woman
Looking good. I sorta feel like her rib area and latissimus dorsi is very "boxy." If you look at the silhouette on the left side of the front image, the space between her nip and her hip bone is almost a straight line.
@Jordann Thanks! Im not very good at rigging, but Id love to see her animated, personally. @Steve schulze Good points! Ill post some experiments of making her hips and such bigger. I think that would give her balance.
You're going to have trouble following anatomical reference if you're modeling her with her legs bent. All the proportional rules stop applying as soon as you have to compensate for foreshortening. It'll be much easier if you straighten her out.
Cool! Clothing wrinkles everywhere! New trend. Very nice work on this. Zbrush? From this angle, her lips and eyes look a bit out of proportion. It would help her to have more character in her face before beginning to texture.
Hello. I have finished my another animation. Please have a look and criticize. https://vimeo.com/178411324 If anyone is interested, I'll leave here my thoughts, how the work looked, what was my inspiration and etc. Apologise for my english, it's not my native language. So the idea for the whole animation came to my mind…
Hi! I think you captured an emotion/expression pretty well! sinse she is tilting her head up her chin should be longer and stretched out, like this also her eyebrows look kinda like they are braided :P
Hi folks and supporters of Polycount! I have a standard rigged character and a blendshape for her whole body. Here shoulders come higher, legs are longer,... Her body joints don't correspond to the template. Now, I was wonder whether there is a way to to also blend her joints towards the right location. I know this might…
Summer just started and I'm gonna try to do a lot of 3D during it, as most of my year was dedicated to computer science related projects, due to school. I couldn't decide what to start with and I figured I'd start with modeling Princess Mononoke from Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke. ;p I love Miyazaki movies and he's one of…
Ror that's awesome... I see myself doing the same thing with my daughter when she's a little older... I can't thank her enough for opening my eyes to the world around me the least I can do is give that back to her, and well... if it gets a laugh while driving the point home, all the better! I remember one art teacher who…
