Not really, no. The normals are either baked out, and supplemented with detail from NDO, or just made by hand by painting our own heightmaps and taking the texture from there. I get what you're saying 75% hasn't changed and 75% is what you use 100% of the time. For the rest of us that use the other 25% its been nice. If you're happy with 8 and it does everything you need it to do, that's great. You might want to compare 8 to 2010 after its been out for a while and see if upgrading is worth it.…
