Disabling "Replace Vertex Color" causes the vertex color to not be imported. "Remove Degenerates" causes errors with the vertex normals. But thanks anyhow. I guess I'll just use LoTekK's pow .45454 in the material.
im getting an error "savepsd is not a function" when trying to save single map without alpha (F5) all other features work well :) oh btw using CS5.1, thats probably relevant
A friend told me that there was a week worth of testing that involved grinding his player against every wall and collision based object to make sure there were no errors in the maps. Doesn't sound to fun to me.
On an old beta, without the laster drivers on my ati card, my baking of the lights was full of errors (shadows and colors was... strange). Sorry, I don't any other ideas about your problem... ,'(
thanks MethodJ I tried what you said but no luck. It's definitely a mudbox error as I get the same results with older hight maps I made. Will reinstall mudbox and see what happens.
What I learned for hardsurface, is that you need to slip the uvs every 90º and I found that the marmoset is the best one for baking, you can paint skew on the mesh that might solve those errors
Thanks for getting back to me Joe. So i resolved them problem with a bit of trial and error HTML editing. Here is the final working code in case anyone else runs into a similar issue.
Hey there Cryrid, I checked just now, and yes, it functions flawlessly in that respect. I have no other errors or glitches in ZBrush other than this case, which is infuriating for me as an environment artist lol...
dont even know if i should be posting this, put most my stuff that ive made in udk, lots of lighting errors no idea how to fix them but i shall learn and press on PROGREES!
