As Drew says, the AO in TB2 is screen-space based, which means it's not very accurate, as only elements that are on screen can occlude. If we were to add some sort of AO baking, it would have to be a different method.

Your mesh triangulation in marmoset is different to that in tb2 - you need the triangulation to match what the normal map was baked against. So triangulate before you bake and keep that triangulation the same.
dude, check out the angles of the surface on the front grip/CO2 line casing, it bulges and does a lot of neat things on your ref. Be more anal. Same with the barrel. The devil is in the subtleties..
Thanks mate! I use photoshop cs2. I was using the trail for cs4 but that expired :( I'll have to save up to buy my upgrade. The 3D painting tools in that are really good!
