Okay guys, have a question that is in need of some serious explanation. :D I need to fake reflections in Max, for rendering purposes, but with mobile gaming specs. Does anyone have knowledge of this topic? Any answers would truly help! Cheers!
As I understand it its just a higher spec DSi with the games having that tracking 3d effect mandated. Will probably have to wait till E3 to know if thats the extent of it.
Great work Millenia, those weapons are raaaad. Just think the wood shouldn't have the same spec as the metal though, 'specially on your ak. Keep up this awesomeness
@chadabees - Definitely! Although, you can definitely tell when someone gets the metal spec right. When they do, it makes me want to lick the screen. Yum.
I like it, alot. I think the suit could use some color and spec variation to ohighlight the different materials that it would be made out of, but I like the design.
Still in the early planning stages for the Ice cave but I spent a few hours and touched up this scene. Better spec maps and some more interesting lighting and meshes.
Glossiness(specularsharpness in toolbag?) defines how sharp(mirror like) or diffuse(matte) the reflection is, adjust the slider or load a gloss map(in your spec alpha?) to control glossiness.
