Blown away! Great work trough out! Hitting that subscribe button. Are the mosaic placed with a vector map? Any takeaways from this one? Could be cool to have a damage parameter to have random tiles fall off.
You know when a badass concept artist picks up zbrush for the first time and makes a badass model? Skip any school that involves teaching you how to push buttons - art is hard, tech is easy.
BTW, once I've managed to get all the UVs normals and such, how do I get it to show in Maya? I closed and re opened my model file and clicked on the Textured button but nothing seems to be changing
Yeah, totally. I think I could remove the whole "Selection" frame by the way (not really useful). Just keeping the "project geometry" button near the quad tool. Just this should help reduce the size of the UI.
Shift + Delete not as much... the X, Y, X collapse buttons on the other hand... when only working on one viewport, and then switching to another and sees that half the model is collapsed in one axle. Gotta love autobak files.
No I didn't wear a tie lol.. I was there on Wednesday of last week. I had jeans and a button down on. I don't remember seeing you.. do you sit in the environment section with Gabe and the other guys?
www.harkavagrant.com www.smbc-comics.com (mouse over the red button right under the comic for an extra panel on all post 2008 or whatever comics) www.wondermark.com come on you guys, can we get a LITTLE higher brow?
It is the best feature I have ever seen :) Though it's not helping much if I playback 2x speed and the guy just umm, yeah, click this, ayy, button here, and then, whoops, click dynamesh here, and then, yada yada.
I'm using it now because no one seems to know what button I'm pressing incorrectly in Max. This adds time to my workflow but I don't really have a choice. Thank you for the suggestion though Jed.
You definitely will want to get used to the quick menus. Try holding modifier keys (shift, ctrl, ctrl+shift) and hold different mouse buttons. Almost all quick menu functions are in these menus. Good luck... :)
