i tried both the grabdoc and mrgbzgrabber, i actually have 2 layers currently in my zproject one has the underlaying noise where as the other has flat cracked plaster. i was planning on trying to start with a base plane layer to see if that would fix my problem.. im not worried about the seams currently.. -

like, a goat There are more devs adding destructible tech to their engines these days, like LucasArts and Epic. If you want to emulate what Epic does in their latest video, you could have layers within the wall, plaster then brick then studs. Epic added indestructible rebar as the final innermost layer, at least it keeps… -

Mayan, Aztec and Incan structures were almost all covered in plaster/stucco/whatever, and then painted in bright colors. 90%+ of that has disappeared, but that's why I was asking if these were "new" or actually ruins. It very much changes what it should look like. If their ruins, are they undiscovered ruins? or have they… -

cool modeling, not keen on brick texture though, id go with a smaller brick, with areas of bare brick (noisy) and painted areas that are quite clean to reduce noise in areas where it would benefit the composition. you could also have a couple of walls plastered to add some variety -

Are you using a student version of Maya/Arnold (or any other non-commercial equivalent)? If possible, I would do whatever I can to minimize it (assuming that doesn't violate EULA). Having a big "THIS WAS RENDERED IN MAYA" plastered on your final art just comes off as really distracting. -

I love the new brick texture, blows the old one out of the water. I would suggest maybe adding some pops of color here and there... maybe flowers in the grass or some green mossy detail on the plaster/stucco? Good luck! I think I might attempt this too and see how far I can get! :) -

I really like where this is going. I also think that it looks like textures just slapped on. It works in some areas but you really wanna make sure that each area/piece blends so they look like they belong together. I think the main problem as far as that goes is just that plaster material. There are some tiling issues. -

I copied and pasted all the assets into a new level. For a while, the scene played nicely. But eventually I was plastered with the overbearing white. I'm at a total loss, it does it with or without the skylight and it seems to be random. Some bakes I get it, but if I touch (one of the random) offending lights and bake… -

Eric, did you photograph that with the gazing ball? I've got a cannon point and shoot so I probably have the same stitching software and this is what I got from my vacation photos: the problem might be the fact that I didn't use a tripod, just plastered the camera to my face and shuffled around about half a circle. -
Re: some kind of building
The arch windows look too low poly to me i think you could add in a few more polys and get a nice arch without being wastefull. You may be able to imply more detail for the windows with normal maps. As for color think about the types of materials used to make the building. Is it stone, brick, stucco, cement or plaster?
