I'd personally recommend building your game resolution mesh by hand after you're done with zbrush rather than doing the decimation thing. If anything take your lowest subdivision level and refine the geometry on there so it will animate properly. and those two tri's could come back to haunt you depending on where they are…
A remake of any of these would never be as good as I remember them, but here goes. Magic Carpet Realms of the Haunting Dungeon Keeper Legacy of Kain series Ecstatica 2 Nocturne Wing Cammander 3 (as long as Biff is still in it) MDK Dark Earth Blam! machinehead Outlaws Carmageddon (its coming!) 1nsane Nightmare Creatures…
Go and make a post over at blenderartists Pea :D It would be a really interesting read and you might get some progress as that's where the dev's haunt :) Also www.blenderstorm.org is an archive for blender ideas, which is owned by one of the dev's (Jesterking) so it might be an idea to post some stuff there too. You might…
a different sort of badass than what i was expecting. will have to summon my D2 Crew from their various haunts across the country for a massive Diablo circle-jerk extravaganza when this comes out. the goat-man model on the beastiary page is underwhelming. i have a hard on for goat men so this is important to me. i want to…
I totally agree with what your saying, actually that was what was bugging me last after I stopped working on this thing. I hate when your art is haunting you even when you need to stop working and relax. the good thing is that the some of the stone you speak of will be replaced with other art. And I wasn't dig the big…
Man, this thread is awesome. Now I have to check out some classic AvP. Glad to see so many people also like SS2, sad that it was sorta a cult classic, though I guess this is a gamedev forum. One of my top favourite games, definitely some creepy parts in it too. That and Shodan's really hot. In terms of scary... the haunted…
Ah, think I was neglecting learning about UVs in Blender since I started in Maya and it came back to haunt me. It looks a bit better but not sure if my bad UVs are causing large errors in my final mesh. One other question, is it necessary to triangulate the faces before export for Unreal? Also not sure what to export from…
Whatever you like and or inspires you, what made you want to do this in the first place? Start there, look for the aspect of your enthusiasm to approach this 3D career/hobby in the 1st place. Halloween sounds good since it is coming up, make the spookiest haunted house or one of the most exciting XMAS workshop, or even a…
buy new clothes trying to complete my stuff lose weight order as much anime series possible getting rid of the succubus that haunts me in my residence. learn to say "NO! get the fuck outta my way" Make my parents understand that my future is in my hands and what i do isnt dead end. playing wind waker after beating ocarina…
Hi. This is still just a start, I haven't finished modeling it yet. Right now I'm at 2178 polygons and I still have a lot more room to Max this to 3000 polys. It not just a standard Tutor style house I changed it to a Tutor styled haunted house. I have added some pumpkins and webbing mesh above the door. And I am planning…
