Don't forget you can access your brushes by making shortcuts to the 1, 2, 3...9 keys 1) press "b" 2) Ctrl+alt + left mouse click a brush and press "1, 2, 3 up to 9 " to store your brush 3) save config regularly.
7, 8 and 9 all have a special flavor that they never managed to capture in later games. 6 was also brilliant. My favorite of the bunch is 7, but 8 and 9 are also really good. triple triad in 8 is the best side quest/minigame of all time - probably.
haswell smjaswell.. 9% overall speed increase or bigger screen + decent wacom tablet built in... I´ll take the latter :P Yes I say 9% because thats what the pcworld benchmark suggested from speed tests from the original surface pro. Only downside of the wacom is the batterylife.
You can get from 1-9 (you get a quest at 9 I think which will push you all the way to 10) in about an hour. I did it multiple times when I used to play. In fact I'm pretty sure you can easily do it all on quests.
its funny how everyone who stepped from one version the next like from 2008 to 2009 said the same, or from 9 to 2008, i stepped from 9 to 2009 and have no real issues, and friends who stepped from 2008 to 2010 had no real issues either :D

Fuck this, I just forked out for max 9 a couple of months back. I think I'll just stick to 9 untill I see they have fixed at least most of the bugs in the newer versions.... Autodesk is starting to look a lot like our favorite OS supplier....
