Just got back from it. Very enjoyable, even if there was some stuff that bugged me. Awesome throwbacks/nods to the original: Things I liked: Things I didn't like (i.e. Nitpicks): Overall, very enjoyable. You should go see it. Makes me want to watch the first one again for sure.
I'm really hoping that's not true. People Can fly Should be playing to what makes them a great studio - the unashamedly ridiculous, fast paced and dynamic throwbacks to old school shoot-em-ups. Leave Epic with the dreary Gears of War franchise.
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick i'm almost tempted to do balba (the only one of those little guys worth a fuck) ps. i think the thick leaves give it a good style, it's a bit of a throwback to the old sprite stuff where everything had to be super chunky
Looks really promising I did surprise me tho that they are going the titanfall route as hard now. If I read that out correctly, then the most important of the new features will make it like titanfall without mechs in terms of infantry combat. (which I think is great for me personally) but thats a big in your face throwback…
Ta much gir the hand thing is probably a throwback from her being a boy mesh when she was started...I see what you mean about the torso too....kk good, I have things to fix....thanks again mister :D

And, while I agree that we shouldn't just all be lining up to pat each other on the back, I have to disagree with you about that truck. I don't see any scale inconsistencies with the ladder, and I think the…

Necro here- Playing this game, I am reminded of System Shock 2 and various other semi stealth FPS games of it's time. Maybe it's just me, but pumping up my dart gun and skewering a tunnel Nazi from the shadows is totally a throwback to the good times. Dyamn. (good game, btw)
Smallish update. The eyes still need a bit of work since he doesn't have an upper eyelid now. Also found a youtube vid that I used for some refs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26UD4kFr1pc Its an interview thats i thought was interesting to boot, if only as a throwback to a different era.
