You could try using meshlabs open source software that might have a quad decimate feature check under remesh options at the top, can't think of one for Max though sorry, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a script out there though good luck :) http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/
Thanks Uberren! Sorry about not posting forever, this is a really quickly done render to show proportion changes and the base materials that I'm going to continue to work on. I still need to learn how to properly texture more subtle details as well light better. [IMG][/img]
Oh sorry i forgot to mention your links too, thanks for those! I actually just subscribed to 3dmotive because of you haha, And i was also going to say that Gnomon, even their online courses, is for California residents only which i found very odd.
Thats putting it mildly (imo). It just one of the things that alone tells me there is very little passion for 3DS Max development (as a whole) at autodesk (again, imo). Edit: Oh crap, i didn't realize this thread was so old or i wouldn't have replied, sorry...
Sorry, I mean the amount that it is exposed on each section of wall is very uniform, if that makes sense? You have the same plaster on brick used next to each other a lot and it makes it look a little repetitive. I think a couple of variations would help to break it up.
I'm sorry for my bad explanation, thanks for thr quick reply tho. Here is more exactly how I want to select things in zbrush: I just want 1 of the shape to be selected, and discard anything else, I can't find anything that will make this possible.
looks good. but i have to change the misc part again due to clippings for the high res model. welp, i'll only have time by the week end nights to finish it. ill post a .gif after i finish the set. sorry for the set back shorkgamer :p
Sorry I didn't had the time yet to look into the project you sent Tzur_H. I will do it as soon as possible. On which hardware do you guys run your projects ? Working in 4K can be very demanding in resources. Does the freezes happen on every project ?
Sorry for the lack of updates, been working my ass off lately and chillin for a while. Anyway, here's some screens from the next 5 props, will post detailed screens on each sooner tho. Worked on this for like 2 days and done. Some tweaks here and there. Enjoy !
Sorry I should have been more clear :) I meant that if you moved your files from the time that you started the project to when you tried to reimport inputs, if so, the projects can´t find the original files and will cause this crash. Could that be the reason?
