Yeah I have to fix up the flyers, I'm just trying to get the diffuse textures for the subway car down. Then I'm going to bring it into UDK and light it.
Great stuff, lovely textures! Really hope that we as artists don't lose this care with diffuse maps now that we are moving towards PBR and automatized methods :)
That simple diffuse texture looks great! It really gives a nice feel for the visual target in a short time. I'll definitely be using this technique for my current project.
Zbrush does too, it just wont let you see the bump at the same time as the diffuse (though this could be possible with mixing, or a quick heightmap swap... not sure)
Imo for gold materials like this (atleast the concept looks like gold to me) i think it looks much better with a brownish diffuse and a bright yellow spec!

I've finally added the cape and drapes, as well as tweaking certain part of the diffuse and spec map. But I'm not fully sold on the gold so I may redo that.
Current progress: Pretty much just making the low poly assets and doing texture bakes, only normal and diffuse right now, but slowly it's coming together!
