I have been reworking an old project originally rendered in Marmoset 2, but now in Marmoset 3 I can't get the shiny metal areas to look right. They display fine in substance painter, but appear dull in Marmoset. I have tried changing lighting, skies, GI etc but still can't get it right. Hopefully someone can help!
Hello All, I'm better at 3D modeling than I am in the 2D space. Is there a program out there that I can use to turn 3D model render to a vector image/shape? I have a 3D logo I am messing with and would love it to be converted to a Vector image to scale in multiple platforms. Any guidance on this would be extremely helpful.
So I hit ctrl+Z and my mesh just dissapeared for some reason. It just renders only that mesh as a wireframe. (shading is set to smooth shade) I combined it with a new cube and this time the wireframe also dissapears. It only shows up when selecting the newly combined mesh as a wireframe again. Anyone know why this is…

I am making this squirrel and wanted to use the Fur modifier and do a render to texture bake but I am not sure if that is possible...any ideas? I just see these amazing results from the fur modifier and wanted to bake it onto a map.
I have a copy of Digital Lighting and Rendering by Jeremy Birn for sale. It's unread and has been left on my bookshelf, so it's in excellent condition. Open to offers. I'm UK based. My email for those interested is emailplaydo@gmail.com. Thanks.
So, people are always saying Blender Render is not the best thing, but they never tell me what exactly is so bad. I'm doing this fancy tutorial about MAYA on digital tutors (in Blender), when I realized, my mesh is not looking as fancy as in this tutorial. The first thing is shading in Blender looks wrong? It seems like it…
very nice, lighting is a bit harsh though, I suggest you get some DOF in there to take away the crispy bits in the background (hard to focus the eye) do that and it'll look like I'm playing GTA4!! ;) just out of interest but have you tried rendering this with ambient occlusion turned on? I mean, not suitable for game…
Hi. Can anyone give me some tips on their workflow to render out HP vegetation. Im allways stuck with this very flat final texture with no depth or anything. Colors are usually screwed up compared to viewport too, mostly washed out.
