Crazyfool, I missed your PAINTOVER before I submittted the last image, thanks man I like your ideas in the paintover. I will try to push the form a bit more btw big fan of your work. Thanks guys for all the feedback!
I'm working on a warehouse loading area. Trying to push my environment modeling skills, so any critique or advice is welcome. Fire escapes are also the bane of my existence. I'll be getting rid of the last couple of UDK assets as I model replacements.
Its CryEngine3 Ive been playing alot with the colorbalancing and contrasting in the scene and pushing the black harder might be a bit overkill (as i still want to keep some of the middle gray stuff aswell), though i will definately try it to see what results it yeilds.
Temple Tomb update. Rendered in Marmoset Toolbag...I think I'm pushing the lil engine in area's not originally intended. Still need to fix lighting, materials and finish off the texture work. Debating on whether or not to use DOF in the final. All low poly.
Sculpt is 95% done, have a few areas to clean up. Trying to push through this fast I've seen some character artist jobs pop up in my area need another solid piece done! Low poly begins tomorrow. -Oliver
Wow so much league of legends love on here :D Striker, terrabite.. thankyou for posting such great images, initally made me a little grumpy, but then swiftly inspired me to really push hard on mine im happy with him :) Wukong, lol fan art
heh :) Thanks Jeremy Tabor! it's based on this particular piece http://schellstudio.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=192 looking back on it i probably should have pushed the details a bit more before going on to texturing (and it's not too accurate to the model) but feels like a good learning experience :)
choco // Your landscapes are amazing as usual ^^ Mrskullface // very very nice sir! kurthectic // This is so cool! You def need to push it even further with a bottom half. Just some pants and stuff. Ignore the top third of the pants there will be a long coat over. C&C welcome.
ScoobyDoofus: She looks more realistic, but I kinda prefer the old version more. There was a lot more tension in her face and the oddities made her look interesting. She's fairly "generic" looking now. Might be worth pushing some of that back in? Especially around the eyes and brow.
Yeah! that's looking better. I would also push the wood a little bit more as well. I did this quite little test I hope you don't mind, it's what I was thinking might hep your wood pop and that would make all the shapes pop individually.
