I'm working on a control point map for Team Fortress 2. This is one of the first rough (really really rough) sketches. I'm trying to get the layout basically done before I jump into Hammer and start building basic geometry.
Rollin you is rollin' strong man. The paint over is genius man, if you can get that out of your texture, you win a cookie... maybe even 2 if I don't eat the other one. Nice job man :)
so finally I managed to finish Mafia during my summer holiday /yeah I suck but they better not put a fu**n racing level in Mafia 2 :poly117: :poly124:/, and then made this guy. kinda a mixture of the don and Paulie.

my first shot at oil painting, the 1st is just black layering, 2nd is with the white i just tried to add and turned into one big nightmare. I let it dry for a day or 2 but it just wont work, ah well, back to pencils it is.
Been sculpting in zbrush on this fella for about 1-2 hours so far including pullin' some vertices in maya first from arshlevons basemesh. Will probably have him in a short animation when he's done. Edit: Belt is a placeholder so far ;)

Thanks for the nice words, it was a lot of painstaking work, lol. Its all just diffuse work. Though there is a slight specularity to the model, but its uniform, and very slight. I'm glad you guys like it. I might animate him and mod it into quake 2 perhaps.
