Beautiful photos all around in this thread! Here are a few shots from my trip to Normandy, France last week. So much to see and my favourite place of all was probably the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, an incredibly beautiful and peaceful site in memory of some of the heroes of World War 2.
M42 mounts seem to have a large following with DSLR photographers these days. Not only can you get them for pennies on the dollar but the glass quality is really outstanding ( helios 44-2, Zeiss-Jena etc.) I have not tried it yet myself, but I was curious if anyone here had given it a go.
Darth - we got a 24 hour snowfall here all over Dallas Fort Worth, some parts had about 2 ft of snow too, thats the most snow we have had here since the 40's. Its snowing everywhere! I got some pics but they aren't that fancy.
