I've noticed that some forums embed YouTube videos with a HTML5 player instead of the standard Flash one. Does Polycount support this function? Yes, I don't like Flash, Mozilla disabled it so many times for security concerns that I uninstalled it completely some days ago and migrated to the Shumway extension.
I am using the micro mesh function in zbrush and the mesh I'm using for the micro mesh is being applied per face on my object, I want it to be per card, basically I'm making a tree branch and I want a single leaf per card etc... any help would be appreciated!! :) :poly142:
I know Arnold has the bake to texture function but i'm wondering if it's possible to bake in different passes like specular, ambient light, direct light, diffuse, so I can composite in PS later. I'm used to that in Turtle renderer but Turtle can't bake PBR materials. Any clues? Thanks!
Hey everyone, I'm trying to cut a face that I made from a path using the "Freeze" function. When I try to use the slice tool on it (Shift-C). I get the error message, "Unable to Slice Polygon" Any thoughts on this? Will post pictures momentarily! I'm posting this from work.
No, the export function should simply return true/false whether it was cancelled or not and then continue on with the script (in this case it would then close out the undo and run max undo). If you're able to post the script I can take a look to see what's stopping it.
Yeah it feels good and visceral and all to say that teachers should get 5x their pay but for that to happen, the bar required to teach would be set so high that there wouldn't be enough teachers. It's supply and demand. There are reasons our societies function the way they do.
UX will inform and improve your UI work. Can't have form without function. But the bigger hurdle I think is going to be graphic design. You'll want to study that first. Your UI art will suck without clear understanding of design.
Doing a concept blockout of the floor just to get the feel of the floor and how it would fit in the environment around it, also trying to keep the mechanical stuff functional so it just doesent seem like a bunch of random bits and bites smashed into eachother:
These days I much prefer the insert stitch brush method. Doesn't rely on polycount, is easily editable, and be a separate subtool. Also, you can set up polygroup and use the curve frame mesh function to save doing it all by hand.
..That isn't what I meant :P UDK doesn't have the functionality to dynamically adjust the output range based on how bright the screen currently is. It doesn't adapt like in, for example, Half Life 2 Episode 2. That is what I meant.
