A big part of the reason why these movies and other similar rubbish continue to get made is because people keep going to see them, even though they know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are going to be terrible. Vote with your wallet, folks. If you don't like something then don't give it your money.
I like the change from the belt to draw string, like he's wearing sweatpants! I would continue to push the "runner" angle in a literal direction. Maybe the addition of an athletic wrist band? Maybe some gold medals around his neck? I'm digging it so far - keep it up! :)

Small update I managed to squeeze in amidst moving and having friends visiting. Hopefully in the right direction. Otherwise continuing the low poly retopo. I think using Zremesher without proper guide curves and knowledge was a bad idea. Its slow going and some loops are so uncooperative. Learnt.
Yea it comes from the generator site recycling image id's and people not saving the image, but just linking to the sites temp image. They will continue to change as other people use the site... sadly those that where created are now gone... Just think, in other areas of the intertoobs, greentooth invaded with a vengeance…
So I went for an external shot of the bunker, and other than it being pretty plain right now I'm finally happy with that general area of the map. At this point though, I'm not sure if I should continue work on the interior of the bunker, or get one last shot of the glacier arena itself. Anyway:
Quick bump here. I will be picking up this project again now that I'm on winter break and have my other projects squared away. Dirty Tex is now #1 priority on what to finish. I'm bumping to see if there are any additional critiques on where he's at right now before continuing.
yeh, such as when I try to anti-alias my normal maps when i bake them out it will make the mouse stick to the hour glass image as if it were thinking, but i can continue to work. or randomly failing to load a .mud. but its still fun stuff, im learning lots.
Here is my tank with texture work started. i was able to limit it to 5 texture maps at 2048x2048 i will continue working on the texture, spec and AO maps for the time being. as well as working on environment assets to show along with my tank. so it doesn't look so lonely. =P UV_Maps
It's been a really busy month, so I'm just now getting back to this. I've change the pose slightly (bringing her leg forward) and continued to work on colors. I want to play with the background, and adding a heat effect, but otherwise I think I'm very close to calling it done with this one :)
