Figured i'd start by adding a few mess around projects i do inbetween class. Any critiqueing would be great. Most are around 2-4 hours. To start blargy the lava monster! (not the best namer x.x) Edit: this was done about 5 months ago but it's one of those projects i want to go back and fix when i can.
Our development has streched over a long period already and we need to update some of the models. This will take some time, but everything should look as good as we can, considering the time and team size we have. Long ago we had a blind bulky enemy now he is reborn with this wonderful outfit.
Went and saw it. I agree on the opening prologue. Very stylistic, in the best way possible. Really made it feel like the beginning to a fairy tale. As far as the monsters and effects went, this movie was much more satisfying than the first one. The first movie had the same bloody monster repeated many times over, and then…
bit of blockout for the minoa palace. like the main stairway on right but left side I think should maybe tone down the columns so that pathway ahead is clear focus. maybe see more of the city rising onto hills in distance on left side to give sense of vastness. I'll only show it from player perspective so I think maybe…
Edit: We have received applications and are currently processing them and reaching out to those we will be interviewing. Thank you all that have applied. Looking to hire a 3D artist who can work remotely to create new monsters and NPCs for our VR MMORPG game that is currently on the market. You can view the style of art…
Big shout out to: Juan Martinez (Monster) Laurens Corjin (Xoliul) Anubis barigazy These guys were super helpful and were nice enough to take time out of their day to break things down for me and help me with my problems throughout this script. Thank you so much!
Hey Monster, thanks for the suggestions. I made a few more tweaks. http://art.lee3dee.com/files/walkcycle02.mov I also have to animate a woman walking too. any recommendations on that? I'll get my fiance to walk a bunch of time tonight, so i can see the movement.
I was kind of thinking that also. I like the idea of blood channels. But on the other hand if the sacrifice is to a giant monster instead of to the gods I'm not sure if blood channels would be needed. I how ever do want to put some blood stains on and around the sacrifice area. Thanks for the input.
I was sorta let down. But to be honest, I enjoyed it more than most horror movies that have come out recently. I was super excited to see the final monster (Sander-thing) cause I worked on it for another licensed project, and it was really crazy to see how it turned out.
Here are some Character Design Ideas I have been working on. Everything is still vague and the sketches are rough. I haven't done any research yet, but I think this is going to be some kind of gigantic monster emerging from the sea. I am not sure yet where this is going.
