Awesome tutorial! It does sucks that Edge Detect is not the same in 5.0.3 as the 5.0 version in this tut, at the moment. They are working on a fix now and also trying to allow the "broken" 5.0 version also so we can use the grayscale instead of it on top of the binary one. -

Is 500 difference in benchmark between the 660ti and 760 much of a difference? Or shoukd I just save the $50 and put it towards something else? Again I look at that 40% pixel rate difference as well as the 500 benchmark difference but not knowing if that is worth $50 -

Actually, moosy, the point of the mx518 is that it is just like the 510 but better. It's faster response, higher resolution, and more features, so it most certainly "has something" on the 510. Unless you were referring to one of the other mice brought up in this thread, in which case I appologize. -

Unity Terrain
Hi guys im trying to create a game environment using a terrain in unity the problem is the terrain drops my fps drasticaly for 10pfs when before they are 50/60fps... If i try it with a single mesh it stays 50fps.. Right now im using a 500 by 500 terrain with resolution of 1016... Is this too large or wt the hell am i doing… -

Interesting. I spilt a bit of water in mine. Won't turn on now. Been quoted £300-£500 by a repair shop to fix (it's worth £500 working). Can't afford that, so might try your oven trick.... On the positive side I've learnt to never buy an expensive laptop again. -

No, that was just an example. Im not sure calling this "real world" is accurate though. It just means that every surface gets the same pixel density. So for example 1m² could get 512*512 texture space, while a 0,3m x 0,3 that only 1 third of that, about 170*170 pixels
