Can anyone shed some light onto why my object goes black when having the viewport show direct x active on when a material is applied? I think i had a solution before but cant recall what i did to fix it. Thanks..
I worked on this a while back, but decided to x-post from the '13 WAYWO thread. I'm pretty happy with him so far (aside from the head/neck connection), but there are probably some glaring problems I haven't spotted yet!
So i know this is basic but i don't usually get these and i forgot how to get rid of them. This seam here, look at it, it disgusts me how do i make it dissapear? x) (I tried turning off normal maps, lighst and albedo but nothing)
Terrain normals are still wrong. We are seeing some y value when its clearly a slight x- and z (see the small gizmo on the bottom right of the viewport). Are you using world aligned textures maybe?
@gnoop Thx, I totally forgot about the G-X-number shortcut (not used to doing that). Do you happen to know if there is a way to snap to next uv space with mouse? (snapping option in UV editor is limited.)
@JacqueChoi I lost a job offer because I posted a reddit post about my anxiety about moving to X city, looking for local information and pros and cons. Right after uni. Not doing that again :/
No, that's not what I said at all, the reasons you use are speculation. You're assuming that they will pirate it because of X, but that's pure speculation. Of course piracy is happening, but you can only guess as to how or why people make that choice.
Something I've been wondering. In this case the floor and overhang have unique numbers. Does this mean we will have to create x number of unique textures to accommodate all of them? Maybe an alpha plane for the text? Thoughts?
+1 Also It would be great to get rid of the put map (x) in the alpha of map (y), It'd be much better from a workflow perspective to composite the 2 images when they're loaded and hide this step totally.
imagine if a prompt showed up at the end "push X to hold hands" another amazing thing is FEZ, a game released in this modern internet age that still had puzzles that took the gaming community weeks to figure out.
