The last work of 2012! It's been a good year, learnt a ton as far as art and 3D is concerned. Got a great deal of freelance work, done well in university, met some great new people (polycounters too!). I hope 2013 is going to be as awesome.
wow thanks that example file is neat, exactly what i was looking for :D and also, im using max 2011 and i beleive massFX was only in 2012.. so no i dont have that (yet) is it possible to achieve rotation on multiple axes with these hinge things?
ya and the hotkey system has only gotten worse with this version 2010. Its great that now viewport controls work on UV selections but so many other hotkeys don't work as a trade off. Hoping they fix it in 2011 but likely they think it is working as designed.
every time i had construction history turned off in 2011 it never let me undo anything Using 2012 now and it lets me undo?!?!?!? i love the ability to Undo things so i avoid that button at all costs lol
Yea its saved my bacon quite a few times, love that little script. Glad it works in 2011, the last version I tried it out in was 2010. It's always quite a bit of breath holding, trial and error when making the jump every year.
Just for the info, you might not need the script at all, as Autodesk added this feature in Maya 2011 (maybe 2010, not sure). Edit Mesh > Detach Component now splits edges like the Split button in Max (doesn't completely break the vertex like it used to).
Hey Everyone! Im starting a little late but Gonna have a crack at Xayah seeings though shes one of the newer characters. I don't have too much exp with the game but man i love the art for it.
