I would think a good 'next gen' character art test would be a character bust or torso. I mean, there's no real reason to see how they model the hips, if they model the shoulders and hands well. I'm against 'no art tests' as well. I mean, hell, we've all seen the people that have gotten jobs off of stolen portfolio pieces.… -

Nice work, good to see more environment pieces being pimped here lately. You may keep in mind for the next piece that it can be helpful to add little 3d damage marks as well as large ones. Most of your scenes consist of very flat angular walls broken up by very large dramatically broken walls. A good way to sell the scale… -

Its looking good... a blocked off hallway area. I like it. I look at this and think "turn around!".. I like the ceiling. I have some ideas; for your modular setup maybe for the other hallway you could have the floor disruption but way more subtle. Break the floor in 2 or 3 spots but spend a lot of time on those spots. i think the jaw is off a bit, but what i think is making her look less asian is the nose bridge. this was something i was fighting with too, untill i got a good tip from my asian art director... asian people dont really have a nose bridge, some have more than others, but cute little asian girls are almost completly flat… -

The most common term I've heard is texture flats. I usually display 4 textures in a quad configuration that fits within 960, so they are about 480 squared. I've played maybe an hour of MP so far, it's great fun, it really caters to the achievement whoring, tons of fun little stats like telling you that you interrupted another person's kill streak so you get some extra XP for killing them. They list off so many stats and give off so many bonuses to XP, it reminds me of Saints… -

Looking better, but the sense of scale is off. It's a real subconcious thing, but when you look at it, you can see. For example, judging by how tall that desk is and a person sitting at it, when he stands up, the vault door would be too short for him to get through, and the shelves of binders and books start a bit too…
