I think Autodesk are the main targets of piracy. Modo's price isn't that bad. With what Autodesk charges though, I do kind of have a hard time feeling bad for them.

In OSX there is two important locations for maya plugins etc. Add them both to your finder sidebar for easy access /Users/Shared/Autodesk/ and /Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya

@instg8r Yes ! There is an option that will totally preserve the source geometry and it’s called : “Max 2019”. Autodesk audit our team for that fix, and they did it the good way inside Max 2019 ! Thanks Autodesk and Michael Spaw.
Yeah really..That was probably the most boneheaded move Autodesk could have done was install that viewcube thingy. What a worthless tool. Out of all the tools Autodesk could have improved on they come up with this.
MattQ86 I believe .fbx is what Autodesk is trying to do to unify the applications. I don't think it would be financially sound for autodesk to merge the apps, 3 pay cheques are better than one.
As far as i know edit mesh is not supported anymore by Autodesk. Autodesk is really doing a good job actually for max they're on the good path. But cleaning a such soft used by tons of differents user is not a piece of cake.
They also demonstrated working with Autodesk. " Included in the presentation was a new product from Autodesk, called SketchBook Ink." Sounds like they are really promoting 'creating' with it. It should have sensitivity if they expect people to use apps like Sketchbook.
