That's some solid progress @AtomicArmy! I noticed you’re using a very wide aspect ratio for your shots. While that can be fun to explore, I’d advise against relying on it too heavily—especially for portfolio pieces. Most games are presented in a 16:9 (1.77) or 2:1 (2) aspect ratio, and art directors reviewing your work… -

And how do you feel about the 21:9 ratio? At work I have 3 monitors and the thing I like is that I can have them at a certain angle, which with a single 21:9 display is impossible. -

They are ridiculous! From Darksiders http://www.darksiders.com/#/media-videos to district 9 http://www.d-9.com/ Do they actually help movie/game sales? They seem expensive to make and are just annoying to me, takes ages to get to the content and stuff. -

you could do this: string $suffix = match("[0-9]+", `match "[[0-9]+]" $node`); or could use tokenize instead if you dont want to mess around with regex. The top code basically matched the [###] and then matches again for just numbers. -

Ok I took an object from 2010 exported obj to max 9. Turbosmoothed both for the high poly and max 9 is steady at like 250-400 fps on screen while 2010 is at like 20 What the hell. Thats insane! -

Choose Direct3D and then you get the choice between directx 9 or 10(choose 9 here). My guess is the driver or the fact that 3dsmax doesn´t like ATI GPU´s (in this case Nitrous seems to hate ATI)
