I love your studies, i think the first one is good, because I think its better for two different light sources. but I think in your first study, with two light sources it looks a bit a too dark. especially for his face. An idea maybe for a color study of light. Think about what color the lighting is going to be. Subdued,…
I haven't been able to figure this out, and it appears its not possible at the moment. What I'm trying to do is parent the lights to the camera, so when you go to the animation tab and rotate the camera the lights will move with the camera. Basically what I'm looking for is an animation of my guy as if I had him selected…
You need to work on your presentation as you know, you have almost no shadowing, very small highlights and it's extremely flat and this goes for your materials as well. They are flat and boring, looking pretty unfinished. Your skin is largely one color and this really isn't helping, like your viking he could have darker…
Hey guys, I have an outdoor scene wich is lit by a VRaySun. Everything work perfectly but in the same scene, I also have a tunnel and every light I've put in dont work..... i tried most of the lights ans none of them works. Does anyone have an idea why I cant use any other light when i use a Vray sun . Tanks
I'd say that the room right now looks too boxy, and being sci-fi you could get a lot more detail in there. I really like the thing you have in the middle and the lighting you got going on, but you might want to reconsider doing something more epic. Play around with perspective more to give some more depth to your scene. :)
Thanks! We're actually playing with the lightshafts right now. I think the aspect ratio was skewed a bit whenever it was uploaded to YouTube, causing the moon distortion and several other issues. Not too happy with YouTube lately. Also, good point on the moon transparency. I haven't really noticed that, but I think there's…
Really like what you did so far! Especially like the face, the only thing butting me a bit about it right now is how sharp the cheaks are (might be the light too, i'm not sure). But you can see this very sharp line going from the corner of the eye to the chin, you could smooth that up a bit. gonna keep an eye on the thread…
I say give them all the rights and royalties they want. After all, it's just all on paper. Companies can just use Hollywood Accounting to make sure the game always shows a loss and therefore, not have to pay out royalties. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_accounting Now if you all could just rally behind shady…
Like BelgianBoolean, I think your concepts are pretty cool, and decided to model a gun of yours for practice. This is my first time doing more complex hard surface stuff and thus a few things might be off. I was wondering if I got the shape on the upper back part of the gun near the sight right or close, because I wasn't…
