yes wacom devices use induction to power the pen from the tablet. I don't know how viable it would be to put that kind of tech into a ipad. -

might be able to get a good laptop for that but put the same money into parts for a desktop, and you will end up with a hell of a lot more power for your money -

Check out mudbox, its pretty much a sculpting app with photoshop built in it. The stencil system in it is extremely powerful. Its also the easiest one to start with. -

Dynamesh is a great powerful tool, why wouldn't you at least try it? Especially considering Zbrush updates have always been free up to now. -
