Good eye Daz, there is some subtle AO on the skin.. Actually, for mechanical bits i used a modified cavity map sourced from the normal map using the photoshop plugin that come with Xnormal. It certainly doesn't seem to be getting any more durable. My NES and every game I have for it still work perfectly while some of my mates are onto their second or third 360. Granted it's more complex and the graphics are more shiny but shit ain't built to last like it used to be... -
