A specular map to define shiny bullets and non-shiny gaps between them, not to mention interesting wear and tear on the case itself, both in the diffuse and specular, is really needed. You have absolutely nothing going on on the surface of the box - surely this is a wip?
man turned out really nice, depending on what you're aiming for i'd like to see the chin defined a little more with shading since you painted in some shading on her torso. Awesome though, really like the texturing on the cargos!
Mood paintings and maybe some early reference and studies of the main story characters. Nothing very defined, obviously. Just general art pieces that give everyone a sense of direction. Anything from original artwork to reference photos of particular areas.
I couldnt get any layer support in ghost painter... it would always show white when there was transparency on a layer.. making working in more than one layer pointless.. If there is a way around that I might definately start using it again.

I'm really glad I noticed this challenge today. I've been working myself back into doing something 3D, and this challenge will definately help. I plan on doing a wide variety of objects for a space-age war factory or station. To begin with just some small props to get myself back into the swing of things
Congrats to polycounts newest employed member. He has asked me to keep his new employer anonymous, but they are big, and I am definately jealous of the project he is on. So speculate how you will, but lets all join in a big black and green congratulations. Your hard work paid off man.
Created this for sculpting practice but mostly for the purpose of having a fairly generic female to build other characters from. I still need to rebuild the topology, and that version won't be as defined as this one, but will keep most of the basic shapes. I mostly was striving for an ideal female that wasn't too extreme…
