@superdroso The 8086K is slightly better then a 2700X. Atp though it probably makes more sense to sell the 8086K (goes for about $400 new) and put it towards a 9900K (which should be about $500-$550).
Toolbag2 Render time! There are still plenty of errors in the bake because of the quick Push to the cage I did, will clean up tomorrow. 55k Tris, without the head / guns. Will end up in the 80k range.
I bought it for $500-550 at version 3.1, it's a full commercial license and every update has been free so far. That's probably the best deal I've gotten out of any commercial package.
I'm using a much older card (550 something I think) and I right now working on a model with about 1.2mil polies and 15 3kx3k textures and it works fine with AA and AO turned on.
Thanks @wcoastsands. This is 5.5 because it's what I already had installed for other projects that haven't yet swapped to 5.6 or 2017 I'm spending some time working on this optimisation stuff currently and it's a challenge!
