where was this model from originally? if it is from maya. you should bring it back and and bring all the uvs back into 0-1 space. Also make sure you have Paint on Overlapping UVs turned on under Windows> Preferences> Paint > Paint on Overlapping UVs.
You can use: renderer.material.SetTextureOffset("_MainTex", new Vector2(offset, 0 To animate your uvs. You can use a control object, like the wheel rotation angle to control the offset.
@Gruckel hopefully this is easy to follow hope this helps anyone else wondering how to do it :) what it does, is it offsets your pattern in input 0 by using the range of colour in your mask multiplied by the number in the graph so, white it moves a lot and black it stays where it is :)
I was having an issue with UVs not matching up in Photoshop after sending out a UV snapshot and came across this thread. Ended up fixing it by selecting UV range 0 to 1 instead of entire range when exporting the snapshot. Hope this helps someone else.
Hi! It would be great if you wouldn't mind using the current Knald thread for any questions as his thread is now closed/unused since Knald has been released. http://polycount.com/discussion/128895/knald-1-0-released/p1 is the current thread :)
for the graphics people: https://imgur.com/a/kFqfZ#0 comparison of the compressed trailer on youtube v a downloaded high quality one. looks pretty decent, im mostly just impressed with the scale of it. suit at the end looks like shite though, not going to even attempt to justify that.
There is not much to do with a static sky texture. Procedural skies gives you a lot more freedom. The static texture could be changed to be hdr again. This can be done with desaturating>powering the texture, then doing a lerp between max hdr value and 0 based on the result of the power.
You could always just use google. Try a search term like 'site:gumroad.com/l/ keyshot' and you will find the above keyshot tutorial among the results pro tip: something like 'site:gumroad.com/l/ zbrush "$0+"' will results on all free zbrush results.
Hi Miroanimates, for the script I've done it is supposed to work like that, for instance if you are increassing the brightness with 5 procent after you will reach the 100 it will start from 0. Do you prefer it to stop? Maybe I can add an option to be checked so it will stop.
