Thanks man, I appreciate it! Yeah, you're spot on about the grip, I think it suffered from being the first retopologized component of the gun. A couple of those rings could definitely stand to be collapsed. I'll also see about doing some more heavy, character building wear when I get the optics ready to put on. Thanks… -

hmm, a couple. started at a grocery store bagging stuff, pushing carts, cleaning bathrooms and ringing people up. I did that until college and then got a job at blockbuster for a bit then gamestop for a couple of years. wasn't too bad because I had some rad managers. Oh, I also helped deliver milk once at 4am. Never again. -

Ka-Bar handles are not actually made out of wood, they are circular rings of leather compressed together : manufacturing process. You could try selecting it on the mesh itself (outside the uv editor) with loops and rings to get your edges then turn uv-editor on and you'll have them selected. You could also try texture tools plugin, maybe it has some selection stuff in there you can use:… -

looking good so far! Did they send you a base and you only need to create the clothing/armor? Only 1 small nitpick so far :P the metal ring on the lower armor is smaller and a different shape than the one in the concept. That said, yours looks a bit more realistic so if that's what you were going for then cool. :D -

Hey, Seth and Ruz - you both entered the game industry in your thirties, what were you doing prior to that? Did you work in related fields or work joe jobs or what? Was it a hard left turn from a different discipline before going into game art or had game art always been the brass ring that you were working toward? -

Great film. I was kind of irked by the CG thing before I went in, but it was definitely justifiable. A lot of the fight scenes just couldn't have been done without it. The action was very over-the-top, but it was to be expected. If you're looking for a new Lord of the Rings, this probably isn't the film for you. Go in… -

I'm a die hard Falcons fan, but I have to pull for the Saints. I like the Colts and Manning, but I think the Saints deserve a super bowl ring. Plus it would mean a lot to the people and fans of New Orleans...they've been through a lot of shit over the past few years. I think it could only lift their spirits a bit more. -
