well here´s my 1. attempt at some high poly modelling i dont think its goot and it still need a LOT of detail modelled by the refs from: http://www.0nd.org/tutorials/3d_orc_modeling/blueprint_setting_1.htm *note i only used the ref not the tutorial there* but enough talking . here ya go : C&C needed ^^
Hourences has a really good (and easy to follow!) tutorial on interp actors and elevators: http://www.hourences.com/tutorials-ue3-interpactors/ Edit: Look at the 'Elevators - UT Style' section specifically. Really elegant way of doing it, and the elevator will be triggered by you stepping on, and wait at the top for you to…
It worked, it's no longer tiled... at least not so extreamly.... @Bek I just started with ddo2, it's very nice toll but i guess i will take some time to understand in fully... Are they any good tutorials out ? i found just one tutorial on youtube for the new quixel suite...
thx guys! @programmer23 all methods that i used for sculpting beretta and mp5k you can find in "Sculpting an MP5-K in ZBrush 4" by Ryan Kingslien. Unfortunately, I did't find the original link to this tutorial, but i think you can find full tutorial on torrents.
Tyson Murphy's weapon tutorial is pretty 10/10. I'd also really recommend Tobias Koepp's stylized dungeon tutorial, it runs you through the whole pipeline and not just for assets but tileable materials and some scene layout/lighting parts too. I learned a lot from!
Also, baking normal maps is a pretty common subject for tutorials- I believe the Polycount wiki article on it goes into some depth, for instance. Are you having trouble finding tutorials that help you understand normal maps conceptually, or is it that you can't find anything on how to do it in Sketchup?
Agreed, the art you used as reference had more detailed shapes then the model you made. You do have the dedication to model so I would advise to follow some tutorials, the one posted above seems really good Im going to try that tutorial as well.
Hey! I'd recommend taking a look at some of the tutorials on this page to help you out: https://texturing.xyz/pages/tutorials And then this one is really popular too, by Tom Newbury. Goes a bit more in depth to some of the above processes mentioned: https://gumroad.com/l/BLge Good luck!
I want to be modeler. I started use Maya from September last year. And i am doing tutorials, watching techniques. And i am trying to do something without tutorial. I admire Vitaly Bulgarov. Want to become like him or even better lol.
This tutorial gives you a nice general overview about rigging in Modo(learned a lot from this one): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5359K46xUo There are also free tutorials about animation in Modo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bimfxNz7bmU&index=3&list=PLi2GhhsPL-Rr4DJY_tJWcsz5R8-_kgZ1_
