possibly change the spec colour of the gold to more of a pale red hue? the red from the diffuse in the gold is getting lost :(

if you're going for the diffuse-only hand painted style then it would be good to paint a stronger, directional light onto these textures.

i mean u can use the spec map as diffuse too cause it has pretty nice colors too

I would start by moving into putting dirt in your diffuse and spec. Also get a few layers of scratches in the metal.

Also in my situation it might be a better Idea to apply the already made normal maps as a diffuse and merge them that way

no lighting at all often looks the best, just relying on the diffuse for ambient occlusion and colour gives great results by itself.

i think the diffuse metal could be darker. And I think the Gloss map need more contrast between materials.

An example with a more complex material would also be a good idea; at the moment all of your materials seem to be diffuse only.
