Dunno if anyone has seen the dagger set I have been working on, but here is what I have so far.

Depending on what art-style you're going for it still doesn't quite give of the look of "metal" + cloth. What art-style are you going for? Will it have specular and stuff in the end?

@helldiver- THANKS!

@chrisradsby- I am trying to implement the style of where I work at (VIGIL), there will be specular at the end. Its a combination of normals, diffuse, and spec but also hand painting everything. Thanks for pointing that out though, i deff need to keep that in mind at all times

Update: Still just trying to block in those shapes. Needs to get more crisp!

Hells to the yes Paul, good work, starting to look really sweet. See if you can make the cloth look more like cloth? Might be how the wrinkles behave, maybe some micro-detail (not sure if that fits the artstyle though!)

Good stuff Paul, I knew that style and name looked familiar

. Probably too late to refine the sculpt, but in the future I would use the trim dynamic brush to get some crisper edges on the cuts and centerline of the blade.

Loving this. It's looking sweet. I think the specular in the latest update is a little much too. The one before it is awesome.

possibly change the spec colour of the gold to more of a pale red hue? the red from the diffuse in the gold is getting lost
