2d like Illumination method using 3d
Hi everyone, I am trying to recreate an effect that is easy to make in 2d, but in 3d in Unity. I want to have a shader for 3d characters that get illuminated as if they had no normals, so that light just produces soft illumination and no shadows as if the image was a cutout. Need help importing into 3DS Max. (No textures)
I keep trying to get into visual modding, but I always run into technical problems. Anyway, when I import a view model into 3DS Max, it comes without a texture. How do I fix this? Also, does 3DS Max support VTF's and if not, what type of file should I use for the texture? -
