the large chunks of rock are skeletal meshes which are animated using a physics simulation in maya. before i run the simulation i constrain a joint to each mesh and bake the animation onto the joints. i then delete the physics simulation data and skin the meshes back onto the joints. thats how ive been able to get the… -
