Another bug I've encountered is that smart material groups seem to be set have their groups set to "Normal" blend mode rather than "pass through", which is not allowing the baked maps etc to come through. -

tim, frostbite is one of the vanilla ONS maps, i only have the vanilla OOTB maps atm, no bonus packs etc. frostbite is like 1 node and the two cores and is set on a frozen over lake. -

Unless I am missing something as well, don't think you are missing anything. Don't even need to get the component mask for R in your one> You are component masking a float but it's already a masked float straight from the vert color node, so that shouldn't do anything. Your target image doesn't have light from behind, it's coming from the left. Also, make sure to light the cove backdrop, to get that even/bright tone. -

Check out http://www.offloadstudios.com/core/. They have some of the best print quality out there from what I've seen. It does come with a pretty steep price though. -
