What happens when you remove that function. Examine the world normal pass to see if it gets better. The flat or almost flat terrain pixels should show the purple-ish color or some shade of that.
@Justo It's built into Max now. Ribbon > Selection > By Numeric. Well its by edge count, but same type of function. Also, I'm going to call SpaceFrog the winner because I like his bulge.
Thanks for your feedback :) I'm here now. I resized the windows and try something for water (I added a smooth gradient from photoshop, it's the same tool in 3DCoat ? I don't know this function).
Spent a little time fleshing out how the creature will be articulated and what its range of movement needs to be. I want the thing looking functional and the design will be driven by that. And a quick parked-active anim test
It looks like you left out all of the most important aspects from the concept to make this crate look like it has a function. For instance, on the front of it, you left off all the bolts and latches.

I still don't know how youtube embed works guess only a select few can use that functionality, if not their should be an easy youtube button in the reply options as it never works for me, thanks.
hey if anybody else has this problem found out it works if you go to the classic mode by Right click on curve editor tool bar and go load layout, function, curve layout classic
My wild guess is it would be the base for something bigger-some function allow us to easily edit the masks individually, like the sweet mask value slider i've always dreamt about xD
