did you used DDO for texturing ? Really interesting stuff out there, reminds me of Tor Frick's latest project wich is in the same kind of architecture.
Thank you Alex! I have done experiments with nanite and decided not to use this time for two reasons. The first one is that for thin geometry, in this case grass strands for example, the rendering gets very noisy as you get further away from the foliage. The rendered polygons get so thin that it can't be rendered well.…
@SimãoSilva it looks really great! I wondered how it did go to port it from Fusion to a poly-based modelling tool? I love Fusion360 but exports have been so headachy for me especially when it comes to optimization. I finished the main shape. My intention now is to duplicate the model to add bevels, then optimize the…
Yes it's part two, part one I'll post on here too (soon), it seems I'm bringing them both up roughly at the same time. Part two, is a Hangar/Diner type scene, It'll have both interior and exterior showing. The Hangar (as i simply call it) has a mountain on one side, and other than the runway it has a giant wall surrounding…
I did this truck for a modeling II class and decided to add more destructive power to the truck using Mad Max as an inspiration. Could use a critique on what needs work and how to make the model better. Thanks Cory
Not entirely happy with this one, but it though a pass in dDo to add some extra dirt and marks. Want to move onto other assets today but open to suggestions for it.
