Yo creatives! This is my first time using MD and this asset is just part of a bigger project, but I need some help. Here is what I have so far, I don't know if I can approach this better? ANY tips and advice will be HIGHLY appreciated!
We're looking for talented artists for on site work in our downtown Seattle studio. Must show creativity and ability to adapt to different styles, realistic and stylized. Check out our somewhat outdated website for an idea of what we do www.valent.us jobs@valent.us Cheers,
I would do the following: - a couple weapons...maybe one pistol and a larger firearm - a vehicle - a couple complex props, be creative - do a few tiling textures that can be presented well like this(a texture by a buddy of mine, Josh Lynch):
Have you tried making the eyes a bit more real? It seems to be everything follows a particularly realistic style, but then the eyes and the ears are a bit of a drastic change. But that's just my opinion. Very creative use of the hood for the cap. I like it!
Wasn't going to get it. Played beta. Loved it to bits, then to dust. Will be getting it and get hooked as hell. PS: Seems like all creativity went into empire. The stories there are so much better. Bounty hunter and Imperial agent anyone? :D

Slightly OT, but one thing I noticed right away. Who did the music? Was it just for this project or was it like a creative commons bit? Nm, I saw the credit at the end for taku iwasaki. Assuming using fair use legality?
I've read it before and it is a great guide. I'm not going to stop making art. Infact, the position wouldn't be creative at all. I'd value working in the same SPACE as artists. For reference, I spend my work hours in a basement warehouse.
you can also check out Ninja Topo.. Its a free script on creative crash http://www.creativecrash.com/maya/downloads/scripts-plugins/modeling/c/ninja-topo http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=drQsYROMgrU
That's not necessarily a bad thing. It's good because it will allow you to have some creative freedom and create something more vivid and detailed than the concept based on your own subjective interpretation. In the end it will still look like the concept, but better.
