it never matters for a flat, convex shape insulated from any nearby angle shifts by support loops. a concave shape spanned by an n-gon can cause problems, for instance -

I do the same as Ryno - set the sensitivity high, means you can twitch and spin. I haven't used the "turn left/turn right" keys since Doom.
