So i was thinking of doing a twinbee redesign, so it looks less cartoony and more zone of the enders-like. I originally wanted to do a more mecha musume-like style, but i always liked to try drawing just plain mecha robots so i had a go. (in truth, i was stumped in what ideas to draw, andi really wanted to try this out and…
I'm going with somewhat believable tech here..but it's probably gonna be messy because there's so much I wanna see. -Multi material 3d printers..as in being able to print electronics and stuff. -An extremely powerful telescope so we can get detailed views of other planets etc -Mature VR along with a 3d scanned earth for…
I like the style of the robot, it'll be fun to see how he develops, maybe bring his legs forward and bend them slightly. At a basic stance the feet should be somewhat in line with the shoulders. Watch for areas on an unwrap where the checker pattern isn't uniform, it should be a nice square tile. I see that mainly on the…
What makes robots interesting now a days is how much detail you can put into it in the works... like the boots of your character could be more mechanized and not look like boots he slips on. http://www.templates.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/6-the-tiny-robot.jpg I know that robot is way high on the polycount but you…
Alright, been a while since I posted anything of this model. We decided we wanted to go with a more traditional design because we want to avoid it looking like Gundam Wing or something robotic. Heres some renders of the model, with her weapon.
The gun animations still kinda suck as they did in L4D1. The guns are held awkwardly and move robotically (and are scaled too small in most cases) not based on this trailer of course, as it doesn't show any gun animations, but I'm saying this based on the ingame footage I've seen.
I know it was said a while back but YES! i absolutely agree. nothing quite like bribing the refs and watching the other team murder them right on the field. skeletons, trolls, and robots. so awesome hopefully blood bowl grabs some of that nostalgia.
Interesting. I've gone through 4 jobs and been interviewed for a couple more and I don't think any of them ran for more than twenty minutes. Actually the Creature Technology one was probably a bit longer because there was robot dinosaurs that needed to be looked at.
perhaps pulling an all-nighter hopped up on caffeine until you puke isn't the best strategy. if this is for a job, they don't expect that. and destroying your hand on a shitty mouse helps no-one. take a breath and relax. you work for humans, not robot overlords [yet!]
It's a little rigid, the part I would definitely edit would be the torso and the arms movement. I thought at first the character was a robot but even that it shouldn't look like its walking like one, it gets stiff. Relaxing the arms a bit would be nice too.
