As JFletcher asked, let this thread die. Take a look on these resources, instead. http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1515379&postcount=170 EDIT: There's this tutorial too, very cool: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88799
Hey guys, These two models are quite unfinished (just started the female model this afternoon). The one on the left is obviously the female armor, the right obviously -- male. Their tails are hiding in the rear but yes they're simian-based characters. Just like to know what you guys think; keep in mind I still have ~1700…
Need six low-poly character models created and textured for a superhero game I am developing. The characters need to be stylized (cross between The Incredibles and Team Fortress in terms of body proportions and look), from 1750 to 2750 polys each. Textures need to include diffuse, bump, and normal maps, in .png 1024x1024…

I have an approximately 700$ budget. My primary goal is chewing through gigantic canvases in photoshop like they're nothing. My…

Good start. I would start another model from scratch, if you are going for a game res model that should definitely be reduced. A model like this should not be more then 1500 to 1700 tris. As for the texture you need to add more scratches and you really need to make your textures blend. Right now it looks like you took a…
