Congrats! I've had good and bad experiences with moving companies. Mayflower was a great move but it cost a bit more than some other. I also had them do most of the packing which they did a great job but in hind sight they don't come unpack so it took months to find everything. They labeled boxes correctly but not…
Ah, warhammer...the good ol' days. Never played the games; I took enough pleasure in just collecting the odd model and painting it. Anyway, on to your model (your most recent post). At first glance, the geometry looks pretty clean; polys look like they have a pleasant, even distribution. Only two things come into my mind:…
[ QUOTE ] I might be able to help get him into the game, if you can tollerate a little adjustment to make him proportional and rigged to the Gen Mo'Kai Skeleton. Otherwise I'd say custom animation would be your best bet. [/ QUOTE ] Thanks, that would definitely be appreciated. After reading your post I was able to find a…
Yea, either remove some of the small details at the front or add more detail at the grip but try to reuse the same design. Something like the 3 oblique lines at the front you could reuse somehow by doing 3 cuts or stripes in the grip, just an example: Maybe not go around the whole grip, just small cuts or dents...
Hi guys! Different kind of pimping here. Would love some feedback on this as well. (I've also posted this to my blog: http://www.jonjones.com/2013/08/27/worklog-how-to-create-an-art-wall/) Art management time! Has anyone created a wall grid full of printed art assets for basic tracking and visualization? How did you do it…
What is TimeLost? : In the year 2115 civilization breaks down due to a scientific organization that decided the planet would be better with robots to replace humans as slaves. They thought that it would make a massive improvement, they were wrong. Robots started to advance in ways that you couldn’t imagine and began to…
I think 3 & 4 are both visually interesting and flow really well with the silhouette. 3 has the "smoothest" and most appealing curves for me, and 4 is really unique due to the really under exaggerated silhouette. It's almost an understatement that might complement the character nicely. I'd be interested to see how it will…
Not #1 #3 is the best compromise between less "wasted" space and quick access, and it's clear. Now I don't often change the filter option, so it could be hidden to win a bit of space like #2 (though its like 15 pixels) For #2 and 3#, I assume the search field is linked to the selected tree ?

Maybe just an idea, Orthos are really only useful in the first 10% of modelling when setting up perspective, and after that the 3/4 view is better at describing the forms. So maybe if you do your 3/4 views for form and detail, and do quick orthos for production that could be a time saver for the whole team?
