very clean job, but it shouldn't be that clean too, what about some imperfection ? in my opinion, adding some decals, damage, would be great ! the top tank too much rivets too. anyway this is my opinion ^^ but it's still an awesome work ! keep working on it and good luck
Well, I have the scene put together. the landscape material needs some work, but I'll do that once I've finished the foliage and the vertex colour/decal system for the rocks. I know it looks really monotone right now, but hopefully all of the foliage will help that somewhat.
Hey everyone! I need help with hmm "modular" terrain. I want to make few tileable textures of for example: grass nad cliff. That solution allows me to easily modell large amout of terrains and just fit textures, without spending a lot of time on sculpt/retopo/uv/texturing on every single element. Next, i planning to add a…
Hey! I finished the stylized environment of the bar to some extend. Attached screenshot from Unity. I wish I could have done graffities, they give certain look to it. But I dont really know how decals work in unity and drawing them on textures would take too much time. I really enjoyed working on it and maybe will continue…
Hey! Happy you like it. The page-turn death screen sounds really cool! But I am not necessarily going for a paper look, so, when it comes to enemies, I want a juicy blood particles and body parts, ideally followed with nice decals. From gameplay side of things, I want to experiment more with melee combat and physics…
Probably you already moved on. But some thoughts.. 1. I just make UVs thinking of strips, this depends really on the shapes that you are using on your Trim Sheets. Generally i think of Trim Sheets as a normal map with a group of strips with bevels. You can do other complex stuff that i still hadn't figured out such as a…
thx Chillydog12345! small update with some new grass and lighting tweaks (think i'm gonna do a daytime version too). Tomorrow I'm gonna make a couple more vines , make a vine decal to place on rocks, and place 2 more plants that I made tonight.
A great start here. I would say breaking up the building and the ground with some grime/dirt decals, not to harsh but enough the break up the bricks and the ground. and like kaburan said the overall model looks good i would chamfer those edges though. Lookin good :)
updating :) still have to add some buildings, decals and some variation... and some post process obviously. crits are more than welcome, mainly at this point where i getting out of ideas of what to place in the scene (looking just for the environment, so no organic modelling). cheers :D
